YOU have received numerous letters recently from representatives of the Green, UKIP and Conservative parties concerning future electricity generation. They seem to be anti everything.

The Greens don't want nuclear or tidal power, and the conservatives do not want wind turbines in the English countryside where most of them live.

So, where do these people think we should get our future energy need? Do we carry on buying it from the French, who have 59 power stations just over the water, or our gas from the Russians, who don't seem to have the same sensibilities as us when it comes to green issues?
