THESE Cheeky Chepstow chappies behind the success of Cheek, the pop musical group that spares no blushes, are looking for new talent to join them on the tour of a lifetime.

"The aim is to assemble a team of local, talented performers that will knock the socks off audiences from Australia to Zimbabwe," said Ian Luther, joint producer.

Ian and his colleague Graham Horder have teamed up with an international management company to take their unique builders' show to the stages of the world.

"It will be a full-time commitment," said Ian, adding that the dates of the tour had not yet been fully finalised.

However, there had been a great deal of interest in their appeal for talent so far and a music teacher from Lydney and a drummer from Ruardean were keen to join.

They specifically want to cast a male drummer, bass player and guitarist, a keyboard-playing female with acting ability, brass-playing females "with visual presence" and singing male actors with an excellent sense of rhythm.

"We want to make up a team of 13 or 14 eventually," said Ian. "Age doesn't matter so much as talent and a good sense of fun. And we want to keep our local flavour."
