FOREST of Dean Artists Peter Walwin and Clare Robertson have been in residence this week at Nature in Art at Twigworth, near Gloucester.
Peter Walwin has taught woodcarving for many years, most recently at Nature in Art, Gloucester, where he has been Artist in Residence regularly since 1992.
A member of the British Woodcarvers Association he coordinated and participated in the creation of the Severn Story Pole at the Wildlife and Wetlands Trust, Slimbridge.

Clare moved to the Forest some years ago and is now the resident blacksmith in her forge at Clearwell Caves.
