FOLLOWING a letter stating that the Foresters are wonderful people – Review (October 31), we experienced a very different event.

We watched the fireworks display at Speech house, which we thought was brilliant, and were making our way back onto Speech House road when a slight nudge occurred.

The person in the other vehicle jumped out, swore and threatened us numerous times with extreme violence. This was a frightening and upsetting experience, and totally unnecessary.

Our friends, whose vehicle we were in, will now think twice before revisiting the Forest for fear of this happening again. We did not respond to this person, but hope he does not represent  the  majority of people here.
