A FAMILY from Joys Green have launched an urgent appeal to find their young cat, Bobby, who went missing last Friday (February 12).

The family, including two young daughters, are desperate to find their pet. Dad Rich Gulliford told the Review: “Bobby is about six-months-old and he was a Christmas gift for my two daughters, Monet, aged 11 and nine-year-old Lola, from their grandmother who purchased him from Cats Protection in Cinderford.

“He is pretty much a house cat, who doesn’t normally leave the house for much longer than about 10 minutes. However, on Friday he wanted to go out around 11pm, where he ran out, and has not been seen since.”

He added: “My girls are desperate to get him back as they miss him very much, over the last few months he has become one of the family, and, if anyone can help, we would all be very grateful.”
