MY heartfelt thanks to our neighbour Emma Newman, her mum Jane O'Donnell, who are both nurses, for administering CPR after I collapsed on the floor in our kitchen.
Also to the first response team who gave me shock treatment and the ambulance crew who took me to Gloucester Royal Hospital – and all this within 50 minutes.
I was later sent to the Bristol Royal Infirmary cardiac unit where they did a good job. All caring and helpful.
Last, but by no means least, to my family and friends who have been so kind and helpful to Kath and me over the past few weeks.
Once again, Emma and Jane, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
