SALLY Sunshine's article 'Loos that give you the blues,' has forced me to write about the condition and smell of some of the Forest's public loos.
With a newly potty-trained toddler I have had to call in at Newnham's loos on the A48 next to the hot dog van.
The smell of the these loos is unbearable. You cannot use them without having the door wide open to allow a little air to circulate. The windows seem to be locked, the door is on a spring, it's revolting.
I suggest that these and others in the Forest could all do with a gallon of bleach and some fresh air circulating. – Mrs C.D. Day, Oakwood Road, Bream.
