MISTLETOE went on sale at a Forest supermarket and raised £1,200 for cancer charity Macmillan.

It is the 14th year that Bridget Marshall of Soudley has organised the fundraiser and it has made a total of more than £10,000.

She was joined at Tesco in Lydney by Janet Cooke, Vicky Heaps, Vicky MacDonald, Wendy Marfell, Cherry Wildin, Carol Gadsbyand Ian Lavery.

The mistletoe was donated by Ian and Trish Cowan of Awre and Rob and Jane Jarman of Pope’s Hill.

“It was a great result,” said Bridget.
