CAN anyone shed any light on the future of what’s happening to Lawnstone House in Coleford?

At one stage it was suggested that the church from Boxbush Road was moving into it although I see from reading an article somewhere, they are fighting to keep the church where it is.

That said, Coleford – my home town for all my life – has this eyesore welcoming people and tourists alike.

As stated before, a perfectly planned retail redevelopment of the site was commissioned and then later thrown out by council bosses.

Now some six years after its last occupants left it’s still empty and left to rot and become a even bigger issue for people that care about the heritage of Coleford.
