MITCHELDEAN Library’s series of open evenings will come to a fitting climax next Wednesday (December 9) when author Adrian Magson talks about his craft.

The Mitcheldean crime and spy thriller writer will also talk about his forthcoming book The Locker, due to be published in the UK on February 1 2016.

The Locker is the latest of 18 books Adrian has released and is based on an apparent kidnap, with a hostage but no ransom demand other than the presence of a man who doesn’t seem to exist. Mixing elements of what appears to be a straightforward crime with links to the complex world of terrorism.

Adrian also has countless short stories and articles in national and international magazines to his name, plus a writers’ help book Write On.

Organiser John Livesey said: “For aspiring local authors and all those

interested in how you make ‘a good read’, Mitcheldean Library’s evening with Adrian Magson is a date not to be missed.”

Tickets are available from the library by phone 01594 544164 or you can pay at the door.
