PUPILS at a Forest school showed how much they loved a special visitor.

Hugless Douglas – and his creator, author David Melling – visited St John's Church of England Academy in Coleford.

David wrote a special story about the loveable bear for World Book Day and his visit was organised by the Forest Bookshop in Coleford.

Children from Years One and Two heard about how David comes up with his stories and were taught how to draw the figure.
