FORMERLY unemployed Louise Davies from Pillowell has won a two month placement working for her favourite charity – the Children's Opportunity Centre in Coleford.
Louise has been volunteering at the centre, which provides services and support for children with special needs, for more than a year and a half.
But the placement, which she won through the Vodafone World of Difference UK programme, means she will started work in the middle of March and her salary and expenses will be funded by the Vodafone Foundation.
Louise said: "I am very grateful to the Vodafone Foundation for giving me the chance to devote more time to working with the wonderful staff at the centre. The charity's services are invaluable and I look forward to playing a larger role in such an exceptional team."
