TWO Chepstow friends had the chance to meet pop star Pixie Lott.

Sarah Birch's name was one of five drawn out of a hat in a competition run by The Mall at Cribbs Causeway that was helping to raise funds for a local charity.

She took along her friend Michelle Higgs to meet the Brit Award winner ahead of a Jubilee concert in Bristol.

Fans were asked to make a voluntary £1 donation to a meningitis research charity as they picked up tickets for the concert.

Sarah said: "I like Pixie Lott's music and I was gobsmacked when I was told I had the chance to meet her.

"I took Michelle along because she is into her celebrities and I knew she'd enjoy it - and she is godmother to my three children.

"Unfortunately things were running a bit late so there wasn't any time to chat to Pixie but it was for a good cause."
