AS of this week, more trains will be stopping at both Lydney and Chepstow stations.

From Mondays to Saturdays CrossCountry services will increase to 10 in each direction at Chepstow and six at Lydney.

It is part of a year long trial by Arriva to see if people "wish to take advantage of a more frequent service and so demonstrate they do bring a true benefit to the local area."

CrossCountry is only required to stop two trains in each direction at Lydney and Chepstow.
