LOCAL musicians will perform a concert to raise money for the fund which provides "extras" for people living in a Chepstow residential home.

The Music for Care concert to be held at Chepstow Methodist Church in Albion Square is in aid of the Severn View residential home amenity fund.

The concert will feature several well-known local musicians and students from Chepstow and Wyedean schools.

Corrin Green (recorder) and Edward, Emmanuel and Elliot Kempton (cello, guitar and violin) are local students and they will be joined by Alison Wray (soprano), Roger Martin (baritone), Moira Fraser-Hook (recorder), Paula Kempton (recorder), Peter Cook (organ) and Marjorie Duerden (piano).

Mrs Duerden said: "The church has very kindly donated their building free, as have the performers, and the refreshments, the printing of posters and tickets are being covered by private donation."
