There’s a bit of confusion,

A medical contusion

A bruise, an ache and a sore.

The NHS is loved and we’re blessed

with every CAT scan and test,

But money you cannot ignore.

Young doctors are disgusted,

They marched and protested

The government just doesn’t

give a damn.

Please don’t get irate, for a surgical date,

I’m sure it’s part of an

“overall plan”

Lies and jests

There’s something on my chest!

And cancer is doing the rounds,

Private medicine! What a capital

suggestion! Provided you’re rich

we have medical grounds.

If you’ve cash on the hip

We’ll attend to your zits

Otherwise you’re stuck

On a trolley. It’s easier

To ignore the humble and poor

Hasn’t everyone got lovely lolly?
