MURAL painter Tom Cousins is making his mark throughout the Forest as part of the on-going protests against any change to ownership of the woodlands.
Although not quite in the mould of 'Banksy' – Tom uses emulsion paints and paint brushes rather than spray stencils – the painting's are all part of a history of demonstration in art.
The Hands Off Our Forest oak leaf logo has been painted on the gable end of The Forester newspaper's building in Cinderford.
Two paintings have been completed in Ruspidge Road, including a deers head and 'Nature Nuture Knowledge', while the Green Man is on show at a house in Parkend Road, Coalway.
If you've got a gable end with nothing doing, give Tom a call. He'll be keen to find out what you want and comes with his own ladders and paintbrushes.
