I AM writing to suggest that the beautiful Linear Park at Valley Road, Cinderford should be renamed Dog Mess Walk.
I took my niece's three small children around this park last week and it really was appalling. There were huge piles of dog dirt everywhere.
My pleasure in the children's delightful company was marred by my constantly having to take care where we were walking and I was forever shouting "watch out," "be careful" and "don't walk there." I was quite traumatised by the end of our walk.
This park is lovely, but please Cinderford Regeneration Partnership, put dog bins and notices up. Come on dog owners, clear up, everyone wants to use the park – not just dogs!
