I AM writing to ask all dog walkers if they would please clean up after their animals. I am a responsible dog owner who always takes the trouble not to leave any dog foulings.

I walked along Church Road, Cinderford, yesterday and between Flaxley?Street and Stockwell?Green I counted six piles of dog droppings on the pavement some of which had been trodden in therefore making even more of a mess.

I also address the person who walks a dog along the footpath behind Woodside Avenue. This person takes the trouble to clean up after the dog but then throws the bag on the floor or even hangs it on trees.

This sort of behaviour gives all dog lovers a bad name, so, come on, think of the general public who have to clean up after your animals.
