POLICE say they are searching for a missing man with a highly distinctive blue Mohican hairstyle.

Officers are concerned for the welfare of 39-year-old Polish man Michar Szablewski, who has been reported missing from Newent, where he was last seen about 1pm on Tuesday, September 3.

He is described as a white man, 5ft 10ins tall, and his hair is shaved on the sides of his head and cut in a blue Mohican style on top.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said: "Mr Szablewski has contacts in Poland and enquiries have been made there as it is not clear whether he has travelled out of the country to see them.

"Anyone who sees Mr Szablewski or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to call Gloucestershire Constabulary on 101 quoting incident 452 of 6 September."
