PLANS for this year’s annual Poppy Appeal Concert are underway.

Poppy Appeal Organiser for Lydney, Stan Rudge has been busy organising the event which is to be held at Lydney Town Hall on Sunday, February 14 at 7pm.

He said: “We have until this September to reach our branch target of £20,000 and at the last count we were around £4,000 away. All the proceeds from the concert will help us achieve our goal.

“We have lots of entertainment including a performance from Cinderford Town Band and the winners of the 2014 and 2015 Totally Talented Lydney competitions. We promise it will be a great night for everybody.”
