ROSS-ON-WYE Post Office, which was situated at 6 - 7 The Maltings, closed last Thursday since the shop is to be moved – 10 metres down the pedestrianised arcade to 13 - 14 The Maltings.

The new shop will reopen on Saturday, May 10 – and the 'new look' venue will have five serving positions, which will comprise two 'screened' locations, two open plan positions, and a Post Office serving point. The new shop will also be open on Saturday afternoons, extending their opening time by four hours a week. They will now be open from 9am until 5.30pm.

Although it is unclear why the closure of the old shop and the opening of the new one is almost three weeks apart, they suggest that customers can access Post Office services at their branches in Tudorville in Ross-on-Wye, High Street in Ruardean, or St Peter's Street in Hereford.
