YOUNG members of Ruspidge Karate Club pulled off a string of good results in a major tournament held at Port Talbot.
Competing against strong opposition from many bigger clubs, the Ruspidge youngsters gained two thirds in team competition events – at under 13 and under 12 age groups.
And competing in their various age groups they enjoyed outstanding successes with a first place for Karen Raistric second places for Aimee and Dave Hopper and fourth places for Helen Giles, Charles Godwin, Michael Hooper, Jamie Baglin, Katie Adams, Carl Edwards and Liam Burford.
The team awards went to A. Hopper, M. Hooper, A. Adams and H. Giles (under 13s) and L. Burford, C. Godwin, J. Baglin and C. Edward (under 12s).
Club nights are held every Friday evening under chief instructor Chris Rudge.
