PUPILS, staff and parents are celebrating after a recent Ofsted inspction decided St. John's C of E Primary School, Coleford, is "a good school with outstanding features".
The inspector stated pupils make good progress and enjoy learning because lessons are exceptionally well planned and ensure everyone is set challenging tasks.
"Pupils willingly take on responsibilities and make a major contribution to the school and wider community, particularly with worship and eco-schools," the report states.
"Pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is excellent. The headteacher provides strong leadership with clear direction and focus on continuous improvement within its underlying Christian ethos."
