I WOULD like to express my concern about the appalling parking outside Drybrook School.
On walking across Drybrook Road on a sunny Friday afternoon, I saw no less than three drivers parked inside the "Keep Clear" markings which also had police 'No Parking' bollards at either end.
Cars were parked up to the entrance of the Memorial Hall and in the other direction to the chemist.
To top everything there was a car parked on the pavement on the opposite side of the road causing myself and children to actually get off the pavement and to walk on the busy main road.
Whilst I appreciate some children live outside the Drybrook area, there are two car parks within a matter of a few metres at either side of the school.
If you are driving from Quabbs Lane or trying to come out of Overbrook Garage there is no visibility due to the parking.
Come on you parents, in these times when we are all encouraged to take more exercise why not walk to school before your child or someone else's is seriously injured or worse. – A concerned pedestrian.
