A LOCAL musical theatre society is heading for Neverland this weekend with their production of Peter Pan.
Chepstow-based ChAOS are putting the final touches to the show which opens on Friday (June 16) for four performances at the Drill Hall in Lower Church Street.
Director Keith Weight said preparations for the production have been going well and everyone is looking forward to the show.
He said: “It’s been going very, very well and the cast has been brilliant.”
The show features Rhianna Thomas as Peter, Clare Smith as Wendy, Cariad Reeson as John, Oryn Paders-Ball as Michael, Lucy O’Hara as Tinkerbell, Jon Stow as Captain Hook, Mo Fielding as Smee among a large cast.
The musical director is Mo Fielding, choreography by Natasha Richards, costumes by Beth Blanchard and set design by Kevin Allen, Keith Weight and Karen James with Lynne Knight responsible for props.
The next show is Snow White and rehearsals start on Monday, September 1, at 7pm at the Bulwark Community Centre. New members are welcome.
Tickets for Peter Pan are available from Hannah’s Music in Moor Street and Whirlikidz on School Hill.
Evening performances start at 7.30pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and there is a matinee at 2.30pm on Saturday.
