TWO very different, but equally fascinating exhibitions can be seen at the Brockweir and Hewelsfield Village Shop until December 12.

Wildlife photographs by Chris Williams are brightening the walls of the café. Chris took the pictures on recent trips to Costa Rica, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.

On the craft shelves are fused and cast kiln formed glass pieces by Monmouth artist Isabel Mitchell.

She says: "My inspiration is from many sources – firstly the wonderful views from my workshop of the changing colour of the Wye Valley, but mostly from travels in Italy and the amazing classical sculptures."
