A 21-year-old Coleford man who admitted driving carelessly in his home town has had six penalty points endorsed on his licence and been fined £293.

Curt Aston of Sunnybank, Coleford, was convicted under the single justice procedure of driving a a Rieju Tango on Bank Street and Victoria Road, Coleford, on July 10 this year without due care and attention.

As well as the fine and licence endorsement he was ordered to pay £90 costs and a £117 surcharge – making a total financial penalty of £500.
