GWENT Constabulary are wishing to speak to a man and a woman about the theft of a necklace from a shop in Chepstow last Saturday (November 29).

They are also seeking information regarding the identity of the pair, who are alleged to have taken the necklace, which is a distinctive design.

The necklace is said to be made of Indian gold, and is in the shape of a snake – complete with turquoise blue stone eyes. It was taken from St Mary's Street Collectables.

Anyone with any information about the theft is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log number 268 of November 29.
