ONCE again in the Review it's car parking charges.

Why do the odd few keep on whingeing about the parking charges? Please just pay up and shut up.

Parking charges are in so please can we all move on. I am the district councillor for Tidenham and use the car parks in Chepstow as do most of my constituents.

Why should we pay council tax for car parking in the Forest and never use them? The fair method of payment is if you use them you should pay for them.

I would like to point out that Monmouthshire car parks charge more to park than the Forest of Dean.

Monmouthshire charges are: First two hours 80p; after that these charges come into force:

Three hours £1.30; Four hours £1.80; all day   £3.50. 

I think that we councillors have done a very good job to keep the charges so low.
