TOO often we hear how local industrialists and business people are unsupportive of good causes in the Forest, so I wish to pay my tribute and say thank-you to Lionel Jones, of Rothdean, for the help and support to Forest of Dean Age Concern over a good number of years at The Enterprise Centre, Cinderford.

As readers may be aware, Forest of Dean Age Concern has just moved to new premises in Foxes Bridge Road, Cinderford.

I would also wish to include my thanks to Robert Ensor, for his help. He has been very supportive with the utility supply to the charity. One more thank-you must go to Spensors, who were very professional and helpful with the move over the Bank?Holiday weekend, so we were ready to go straight after the holiday. It is so good to say 'thank-you' – rather than moaning, as so often seems the case.
