ON behalf of the charities we would like to say a huge 'thank you' to everyone locally who supported us in 2012.

The people of St Briavels and surrounding areas put their hands in their pockets to support the Forest Hospice, Lydney Hospital, McMillan Nurses and Hope for Tomorrow. We also sent over £400 for the Colbalt Unit Penny Appeal, Cheltenham.

In this economic climate where money is tight it is amazing that at our coffee mornings on Bank Holiday Mondays we raised over £3,100.

We will once again be at The Pavilion, St Briavels on Easter Monday and would welcome new and old friends.
