WE are delighted to read that The Bridge Inn, Cinderford could be bulldozed in favour of a widened junction.
Like many others, we have treasured memories of good times in our lovely old pub but unfortunately those days are gone forever.
The plans to change The Bridge Inn to accommodation were dangerously ill conceived, as would be traffic lights. The only way forward is to knock this derelict old building down and free up the busy congested St Whites/Valley Road 'T' junction to improve visibility and traffic flow.
A widened junction will reduce the numerous accidents and increase road safety. We support the demolition wholeheartedly and hope it will begin as soon as possible.
