THE A48 was closed this morning (Friday) following a three vehicle crash near Woolaston.

Paramedics treated a number of people for minor injuries following the incident which happened at around 8.35. The road was clear just after 9.15am.

The crash involved two cars and a lorry, said a spokeswoman for Gloucestershire Police.
