PLAYERS, supporters and committee members of Berry Hill rugby club paid homage to former captain Brian Harris before their recent game with Paignton.
It was an opportunity to remember one of the finest players to ever put on a Berry Hill shirt.
Brian - BK - Harris was 62 and died suddenly on March 24.
Friends from the club gathered with his wife Mary and a large number of former players to recall experiences of the highly respected tight-head prop.
A group photograph was taken including present club captain Andy Wright and former skippers followed by a buffet lunch and tribute from Berry Hill chairman Nick Harris.
Before the 2.30pm kick-off the teams, flanked by their supporters on the touchline, lined up for a minute's silence in memory of BK.
The Berry Hill pack was on grimly determined form and eventually beat the talented Devon side by 18 points to three in a game played in great spirit.
In a fitting tribute to BK, the second try was a penalty try after Paignton were forced into scrummaging offences on their own line to prevent a certain score.
