If M Palmer from Lydney had ventured into Cornwall he/she would have seen even more turbines and not only that but solar panel farms too.

I agree they look majestic and the solar panels look no different to polytunnels. If it's good enough for Devon and Cornwall and is obviously not having any negative impact on tourism then why not have more of them in the Forest?

We need to be looking at ways to make our island sustainable and I would much rather have these forms of renewable energy than a nuclear power station (especially with the current terrorism threat going up) or fracking which has it's own negative impact on the environment.
