WELL said David Norman, what a brilliant article showing us that Mr Reeve is living in cuckoo land.

My question to any physics boffins out there is – "Is it feasible for engineers to harness energy from the sea?" We all know that water is made up of H2O. When studying at college in 1954 for a National Certificate in Electrical Engineering, I recall a lecturer who believed that one day the oil we use will run out and that all cars would be electric.

He maintained that man would be able to separate hydrogen from oxygen in water and so have an unlimited supply of hydrogen to produce electricity. Power points would be made available on all roads to charge the batteries of cars.

I recently read with interest that motorway service areas are in fact supplying these points today.

I look forward to any comments your readers may have on this subject.
