Inspired by the Deanery Pilgrimage undertaken earlier this year by Bishop Michael, parishioners from the Benefice of Cinderford and Littledean walked up hill and down dale in a 10 mile hike around their own churches.

Vicar Mike Barnsley and churchwarden Peter Poole were joined by five parishioners for the full hike while nine others walked part of the way. The walkers, pictured above at the halfway point, St Stephens Church, Cinderford, enjoyed refreshments at each of the five benefice churches.
