A HARMONIOUS com­munity where pupils thrive, was Ofsted's verdict following a recent inspection of Woolaston School.

Children, governors and staff are celebrating the report which praises standards.

The report said early years foundation stage teaching was outstanding and standards in all subjects throughout the school were above average.

Inspectors said the children responded enthusiastically, concentrated well and worked hard, and their behaviour is good and at times exemplary.

They praised the school's after school clubs and activities and the high quality art displays.
