I AM writing in response to the letter in last week's Review headed 'Tenants to evict?'
I live on a Wyedean Association Housing Estate, Wilkes Meadow, in?Broadwell.
It seems to me that law-abiding citizens on these estates have frequently had to put up with drunken fights, loud arguments, loud music and drug dealing and, like Cinderford, lots of police cars.
We complain and it gets us nowhere. On my tenancy agreement it says three warnings and you are out.
It does not seem the case of Wilkes Meadow. There have been loads of complaints over the years, and nothing happens.?The
tenancy agreement is not worth the paper it's written on, unless by some unfortunate circumstances you have rent arrears. And then they act with venom to evict you.
As most of the trouble-makers on our estate are on benefits and therefore get their rent paid by us taxpayers, Wyedean doesn't care so long as they get their money.
Come on Wyedean, pull your finger out and get your priorities right. – A fed up resident of Wilkes Meadow.
