FRIDAY May 25 is the night to enjoy a Zumba Carnival Party and Disco in aid of Great Oaks Forest Hospice at Bells Hotel, Coleford (7pm-midnight).
The event is being organised by Forest Zumba instructor Hayley Whittington, who says: "I got the idea for a carnival night when I attended one at the end of February in London at the first ever European conference for Zumba instructors, organised by Beto Perez, the founder of Zumba Fitness.
"The atmosphere was incredible – the room was a sea of colours with literally thousands of people from all around the world dancing the same dance and singing the same tune.
"Zumba Fitness is inspired by dance syles and rhythms from around the globe with easy to follow steps. Much of the music is Latino-based, making every class feel like a party. The exercise bit is disguised as we have so much fun.
"The Carnival Party is not just for Zumba addicts, it is for everyone – those who don't dance, those who do, any music tastes. There will be something for everyone."
