BERRY Hill and Bream played out a close-run derby in a nail-biting exchange of leads.

Hill took the lead with a penalty before Bream equalised and took a 6-3 lead into half-time.

The second half saw Berry Hill equalise, before finding themselves 9-6 down, but rallied, took control of the game, denied Bream many opportunities, and scored a late try – which went unconverted.

•The next fixture for Berry Hill 1st team is an away match against Cheltenham Saracens on Saturday January 10, starting at 2.30pm.
