A CLASSY double from captain Phil Bailey helped put Chepstow Town A into semi-finals of the Benevolent Cup at the expense of near neighbours Chepstow Athletic with a hard-fought 3-1 win.

The central midfielder's strikes either side of half time proved the difference in a competitive yet even tempered derby which brought a first victory for Town's new management team of Dave Livermore and Matthew Pinchard.

With a strong breeze blowing down the ground both sides struggled to get going in the opening stages with chances few and far between.
