VISITORS Parkend put up a rearguard action as Forest Exiles found the target with the ball.

Ben Howells picked up four wickets and there were three each for Dan Keddle and Joe Worgan.

Parkend’s top scorers were Ryan Burris at number eight who scored 32, number seven Lee Ayres scored 28 and number nine David Morris contributed 27.

Stephen Say caught Ayres off the bowling of Joe Worgan and took the stumps of Ryan Burris and Peter Escolme off the bowling of Howells.

Howells’s other wicket was Jake Parsons who he bowled for six.

Keddle took Parkend’s top three batsmen, bowling Ben Andrew and Tom Tremlett while Charlie Thomas was caught by Jack Worgan – who also bowled Ben Horton and Amelia Andrew.

Connor Blackpool was top scorer for the Exiles with an unbeaten 47 as the home side reached the target with 17.2 overs to spare.

Harry Barnett made 22 before being bowled by Ben Horton and Stephen Say scored 20 before going to the bowling of Ryan Burris, while Rich James was on 18 when he was bowled by Tom Tremlett.

Tremlett also took the wicket of Ross Barnett who was caught by Ben Andrew while Ryan Burris also had a second wicket, bowling Jack Worgan.

Exiles picked up the maximum of 20 points while Parkend received six.
