Blakeney Res 1-2 Ruardean Hill A


RuarDEAN Hill Rangers A picked up three points at Blakeney.

The home side started the afternoon in fifth place in Division Two while Ruardean were in 10th,

The points put Ruardean further away from the relegation zone, but they remain in 10th.

Gareth Jones scored for Blakeney, who remain in fifth.

St Briavels had a comfortable 4-2 away win at Viney St Swithins.

Jack Dawson scored twice for St Briavels with the other goals coming from Solomon Thompson and substitute Joe Hale.

Simon James scored the home side’s goals.

In North Gloucestershire Division Two’s only other game on Saturday (January 18), Weston drew 2-2 with Coleford Town Reserves.

The Coleford goals were scored by Stuart Jeffs and Keith Patterson.
