North Gloucestershire League Division Three

Newnham United 14-0 Rank Outsiders Reserves

Newnham hit the net on average every six minutes as they trounced bottom club Rank Outsiders Reserves.

It was an afternoon of big scores in the division with Newnham contributing 14 unanswered goals.

Top scorer for Newnham was Lee Brice who netted a double hat-trick.

Tom Fraser scored three and there was one each for Christian Assirati, Ben Boulton and Ross Keddle.

The result enabled Newnham to move into sixth position in Division Three ahead of Ruspidge who drew 1-1 away to Staunton and Corse A.

Rank Outsiders remain on the bottom, but it was not a good afternoon for the side one position above, Whitecroft B, who were hammered 6-0 at home to visitors Ruardean United.

There was also a big win for second-placed Ellwood Reserves who beat Redmarley 7-1.

Tom Creed, Michael Nelson and Mark Wayman each scored twice and Matthew Creed got one.

Leaders Lydney Town A put five past Littledean who scored two in response.

Visitors Sling were also 3-0 winners on the road at Yorkley Reserves.
