CHEPSTOW-based Kestrel gymnasts end­ed their last competition of the year at the Welsh Tumbling Cham-

pionships in Car­diff with great results. 

The four gymnasts performed three different tumbls in Intermediate Level Two, and gave their all with fast tumbling and good landings on somersaults.  Joel Kohler-Hoon was champion in the boys’ 11-12 year-old section and, although not placed, Georgie Davies had a good competition. 

In the 13-14 yrs section, Jessica Ham won silver, and the club had another champion with Lily Brain taking gold. 

A spokesperson for the club said: “We look forward to new challenges in the new year after a short break.”
