Mushet and Coalway 1-1 Westbury

---

ROB Snelgrove’s 300th goal for Westbury earned his team a 1-1 draw at Mushet and Coalway.

Scott Burrows put the hosts ahead, but Snelgrove reached the 300 landmark to level the game late in the first half.

Rob first played for Westbury in 1994, and returned a few years ago after a period of retirement.

The point keeps Westbury in seventh, two places above Mushet.

The shock of the afternoon came at Redbrook where leaders Broadwell fell to their first defeat of the season against the side which is bottom of the table.

Jake Morgan and Connor Tyson each scored twice for the Wye Valley side, and Alexander got one in the 5-3 victory, Redbrook’s first of the season.

Adam Fowler opened the scoring for Broadwell in the third minute and rounded off the scoring in the 96th.

The other Broadwell goal was scored by Matthew Foxwell on half an hour.

Staunton and Corse are now second on goal difference after beating Huntley 6-2.

Bream Amts are in fourth after a 3-1 win at Harrow Hill Reserves.

They are ahead of Worrall Hill on goal difference who secured a 2-1 home win against Redmarley.

Worrall Hill leapfrogged the vistors into fifth place.
