THE WINDY conditions made life difficult for both teams but Berry Hill just got the better of a spirited Bream.

With the wind making it difficult to kick for field position the teams opted to keep the ball in hand.

The home side had only a couple of chances during the first half to get on the scoreboard as the visitors put on the pressure.

Bream’s defence thwarted everything that Berry Hill threw at them to go into the break even at 0-0.

The home side’s forwards kept them in the game but Berry Hill got the first points on the board midway through the second half with a penalty made more difficult by the severely windy conditions.

Despite the wind both sides continued to try and play entertaining rugby and Berry Hill sealed the win with a late try that denied Bream a losers’ point.
