Coleford United Reserves 1-2 Worrall Hill

DIVISION Three front runners Worrall Hill picked up three points at third-placed Coleford.

Coleford started the game six points behind the visitors so three points would have been more than handy.

But the leaders were on top for most of the first half and put away a couple of goals courtesy of Ryan Bennett and Nathan Green to give them a useful cushion going into the break.

United’s joint managers, Nic Watkins and Nic Papps, made a number of changes at half-time and the home side asked more questions in the second 45.

Coleford had a number of chances which went begging and would prove to be costly.

David Revill set up a busy last 20 minutes with a goal from a free kick but Worrall Hill hung on for the win which extended their lead over Coleford to nine points and kept their 100 per cent record for the season intact.

This weekend Coleford face Cheltenham side Windy Ridge in the third round of the County Cup.
